Caribbean Inflatable Billboards sets world record for Largest Airtight Amphibious Billboard

San Juan, Puerto Rico (April 2, 2008) Caribbean Inflatable Billboards (CIB) established a new record for “World’s Largest Airtight Amphibious Billboard.” The record setting, portable billboard measures 72 feet long by 18 feet high.

The advertisement was commissioned by the Puerto Rico Tourism Company to welcome the inaugural Puerto Rico Open, the first ever official PGA event in Puerto Rico. The floating billboard was placed on a golf course lake at the Trump International Golf Club, the PGA event site, in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. The future of the portable billboard is yet to be determined as it may remain at the Trump International Golf Club for future promotions or it may be moved to another location.

The inflatable advertising framework used to construct the record setting billboard is patented by bbi Display Systems and distributed worldwide. Caribbean Inflatable Billboards is the exclusive distributor of the products in the Caribbean region.

The patented amphibious billboards have many unique features including: the ability to be displayed on water or land; multiple display panels that create a 360 degree ad which can be seen from all directions; link ability to create different size billboards; and portability that allows the billboard to be mobile. The systems setup in less than 30 minutes and fold into supplied carrying bags when not in use.
