(2) 24’ amphibious displays will float along Southern California harbors and beaches during the Labor Day weekend. The California Department of Boating and Waterways is taking its messages to the water for the 3rd consecutive year. Over Labor Day weekend, bbi Displays floating billboards will appear along various Southern California coasts and marinas promoting clean boating practices. The floating billboard boats encourage proper disposal of sewage in order to protect the waterways and the message targets recreational boaters. The inflatable billboards, contracted by Media Solutions of Sacramento, measure 24′ x 14′ and will be pulled by a small vessels.
A 24′ billboard appeared in the Marina del Rey for the California Department of Boating and Waterways over the holiday weekend. The mobile billboard was widely viewed by recreational boaters, local beach goers, and firework show crowds.
